I did weeks of research attempting to balance best quality in the medium price range of these portable units. I planned to purchase the $350 professional version of Eurodib. And in fact Eurodib was one of the top rated brands I chose in lieu of Viking. This unit is the most inexpensive of the Eurodib line and is a home unit, not professional. Although I had planned to spend more I finally settled on this fantastic deal on the home unit because it was half price of anywhere else on the web and it does the job great. My only complaint is the manual is not at all informative and I don't understand the various power levels vs. temperature options, but this is not really problematic.
