Question:
Is this a heavy duty more than thin bottom skillet? Is there an inner core of something else in the bottom of the skillet or is it all one layer of aluminum? I want something that is not too thin nor really heavy. I have a Circulon 10" skillet that is about the right weight, but am looking for something similar in weight and constant heating ability on the bottom with a heavy duty non stick interior.

Hi. There is no mention from the manufacturer of an additional core in the bottom portion of this aluminum fry pan, so I can't say if there is one. It has a heavy duty non-stick coating though. I did find a similar fry pan with a non-stick surface that has a sandwich aluminum bottom though, and it is item #6006484. Thanks! |
