Had one of these previously and loved it so much I found it here on this site and ordered two to give one as a gift but after using one probably twenty times now there is still an overpowering metalic taste to anything made in it likely due to the metal strainer. Hopefully I have not just exposed myself to heavy metals! Not sure if they used some kind of new metal or what for the screen but I would definitely NOT recommend this item as it was sent to me and I won't be giving it as a gift.

I was gifted my first pot and I loved it. Broke it and did not realise all parts can be replaced. Got a second hand pot now, just like the first but the rim is warped and the basket does not sit flat so the top is not seated either. Can I purchase just the collar(in black)? everything else is perfect.
