Question:
I plan to hand paint plates for a bridal shower and it requires baking finished painted plate in kitchen oven at 325 for 30 minutes. Will this plate withstand this process? Thanks
Answer:
Hi. Yes, this plate would stand up to the process. The manufacturer is recommending that the following process be followed: 1) Place the decorated plate in a COLD oven. 2) turn the oven on the desired temperature of 350 degrees. 3) once the oven has reached the temperature of 350 degrees. Allow to stay at this temperature the proper amount of time to cure the materials. 4) once the material has cured, turn the oven off and allow to cool naturally. DO NOT remove the plate from the oven and sit on a cold surface as the shock will be too much. Once the oven has cooled, remove the plate. Allow the plate to cool in the oven with the door closed.
