I use this for food prep involving slicing, dicing of virtually any food product. Great size - carrots seldom roll of the edge of the board! - and heavy enough it doesn't slide around on the granite countertop. Great size work area. I didn't realize how much I disliked my smaller boards until I got this one. It's larger than most cabinets are deep so plan where to store it and measure the dimensions. Or may you just leave it out on the countertop!
