I bought the same knives about 6 or 7 years ago. They are great! Even though they have wooden handles, they go right in the dishwasher. Of course, the wood lightens but they are still sharp! Great price! They cut dry wall also!

I already have some of these and the handles on the ones I already own are more RED or REDISH in color these appear to be a BLACK or a very dark color??? Can you describe the color of the handles??? Thanks Robert

According to the model #, these appear to have the reddish handles. The image currently on the site is probably a black & white image of it. We will update the image once we obtain a picture of it.

I have had tramontina steak knives from many years ago. I want the same as the jumbo rounded blade but I want the blade to be like 4" and total of 8". I cannot handle such a large knife at my age as the jumbo. I would like 10 or 12 if at all possiable. Thank you.

Hi. Yes, the weight in the specs tab for the Tramontina Porterhouse Jumbo Round Tip 5" Steak Knife is the shipping weight for a dozen of these knives. One knife is about is about 0.17 pounds, or about a couple oz. Yes, this is full tang, and used at that steakhouse. Thanks!
