This Sparta 2" pastry brush features wide, flat boar bristles and a high-quality, lacquered hardwood handle with brown nylon ferrules. The premium bristles have been double-boiled, bleached and sterilized to be water-resistant and withstand temperatures up to 500°F, and they are epoxy-set in the ferrules to provide superior bristle retention and prevent air pockets that can harbor bacteria.
