As a regulator, I used the unit extensively to test refrigeration and water temperatures. It is nicely designed, but does not work well with high temperature dishwashers and water submersion. Water gets into the housing. Also the plastic on the push buttons fall off soon.

I have several of these thermometers and after being used for a while they start to display 4 LLLL across the screen. What can I do to fix this problem or can it be fixed. Some of the thermometers are not even 2 months old. Thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter.

Hi. This thermometer can be field-calibrated with ice-bath or boiling water methods. You can calibrate it as often as you need. Calibration info: N.I.S.T. traceable by lot. Adjustable calibration resistor beneath the screw on back side. Thanks!
