CAN THIS BE TAKEN APART? FOR EXAMPLE, USING ONLY THE TOP 4 TIERS FOR A CAKE.

Answer:

Hi. I wouldn't suggest using just the top 4 tiers (or any others) without the sturdy metal base at the bottom. We do sell a 5 tier version of this though (item 116354 ).
