Do I need special pot or pan to use stove, ours doesn't heat up, all the indicator power are on but doesn't heat.

Hi. This is an induction cooktop and you'll need to use a magnetic pan (any cookware that attracts a magnet). They're usually labeled or described as "induction ready" cookware. For example, item #114414 is part of a line that is induction ready.

I would like to have more information on the Iwatanbi Low-Profile induction burner. Modle #IWA 1800. Where is it manufactore, how many heat setting does it have, temp. control. etc. Thank you John I am also looking in to the Vollrath (59500P) 14" Mirage Pro Series.

Hi. If you zoom into the picture, you can see that you can set it by "heat" or by "temp" using the electronic pad. There is a low-med-high range (9 levels) or you can set from 110-410 degrees F (7 temperature settings). This is made in China. The Mirage Pro has 1-100 power levels or °F/°C temperature level controls. It is imported. There is a spec sheet and manual in that product's "literature" tab for more information. Thanks!
