I use the thermometer when I fry fish. It woks very well with my butane fish cooker. The clip allows me to attach the thermometer to the side of the cooker for easy viewing as I maintain the level of temperature that works best in frying fish and hsuh puppies.

Question:
My wife often fries french fries in a regular 12in. frying pan. We can't find a short thermometer that will clip to the side of the pan. Will the Taylor Candy Deep Fry do the job? Thanks jack truax
