This scale does not say that it is legal for trade. It can handle heavy packages or containers.

is the platform made of all metal or is it a metal cover with a plastic bottom? Pelouze® 150 lb Digital Receiving Scale w/ Tare also looking at the 400 lb version how much?

Hi. The platform is made of rugged plastic with a non-skid platform with grid design keeps packages in place. Model #4040-88 is rugged plastic too. Thanks!
