Question:

How many minutes/seconds should the thermometer be in the liquid to measure an acurate temperature?

Answer:

Hi. 10-20 seconds would be good. If by then the dial remains still, it's accurate.

Hi. This instant read thermometer can be used to read temperatures of a variety of items, but mainly food items. You can stick it in a roast to check the temperature or in a cup of water. Nearly anything. Thanks!
