How well does this protect against heat in front of a grill?

Answer:

Hi. This apron is heat-resistant and fire-retardant, and is made of Neo-Flex material (neoprene). The advantage of neoprene when working in front of a grill is that if it gets too hot, the material will char instead of melt off and expose unprotected material. Thanks!
