QUESTION
Hi there, we are interested in knowing a couple of crucial things about your product before we start working with them next month. First, how do you heat them? Secondly, how do you safely handle them? Thirdly, how do you take the plate off the bottom palate without getting burnt? We have purchased the system without fully understanding how this works but I know there must be a safe and efficient way to use them. Thanks so much, Sue
ANSWER
Hello, according to the manufacturer heating the pellet is usually done in the oven and they recommend trying it at different degrees starting at 200. Some people use tongs to move the pellet into the base. The base is used to serve the plate with the food to keep the plate warm. The plate isn’t removed until it comes back to the kitchen area when you can safely remove it because it should be cooled down at that point. I hope that helps. If you have more questions please give us a call at 1-866-634-8927 or you can contact the manufacturer, American Metalcraft, at requests@amnow.com, or call 800-333-9133. Thank you!

QUESTION
How would I heat this pellet in my home? Can I just put it in the oven? Thanks.
ANSWER
Hello, yes, this pellet is heated in the oven. It is then placed in the base of the American Metalcraft Thermo-Dri unit. The plate is placed in the base and set on the pellet. Thank you!
