In 2018, Brad & Eric Wasserstrom will both celebrate their 25th anniversaries with the Wasserstrom family of companies. Brad & Eric are the fourth generation of Wasserstrom leadership and have each made their mark in their own ways.

Brad & Eric began their careers together in Phoenix after the acquisition of Designers Choice Stainless IV (DCS). After graduation from Arizona State University (Brad) and the University of Colorado (Eric), the two even lived together for a short time when starting out. Details from that time they jokingly say, are classified.

According to Rodney Wasserstrom, “It was a great surprise to me when Brad & Eric decided that they wanted to be a part of the family business. At this point, Alan and I were not thinking of succession, but we were eagerly watching and listening. Brad & Eric tackled and excelled at each project put in front of them. They were sponges out in the desert, absorbing every ounce of knowledge thrown their way. It was nice to hear from associates out in Phoenix that they seemed to take to the business with natural instincts.”

Alan Wasserstrom says that Brad & Eric were integral in spreading the Wasserstrom culture of family and hard work to the Southwest. “At that time, it was a new area of business for us,” he says. “Rodney and I were in Columbus, but Brad & Eric were there in Phoenix representing the values that are so important to us.”

Fast forward to today. Eric continued his career with the manufacturing division and today is President of N. Wasserstrom. Brad moved to the smallwares side of the business and was named President of The Wasserstrom Company in 2009. Both have brought fresh ideas to lead the companies into the future, as well as maintained the family culture that has defined the company for 116 years. “We are really fortunate that Eric & Brad wanted to go into the family business,” Alan says. “The associates have accepted them and they continue to excel and make the company what it is today.” Rodney agrees. “They have excelled at developing rapport with associates and business partners. I personally cannot wait to see what Brad & Eric do next.”

Congratulations to Brad & Eric Wasserstrom!

I worked as a designer at the Wasserstrom main store in Columbus when Rodney was CEO…I designed the “SISTERs Chicken n’ Biscuits concept that was created by The Wendy’s company to compete with “Popeyes”
We built maybe 50-60 stores before the brand failed
