QUESTION
we're looking for a countertop electric fryer for our church festival for frying French fries. needs to be able to recover quickly. Can you tell me if this fryer recovers from cooking frozen fries quickly and how long I can expect for it to take to cook 5lbs of frozen fries?

ANSWER
Hello, this fryer is thermostatically controlled and will operate according to the desired temperature setting, ensuring temperatures are maintained through the cooking cycles. Between product frying the fryer should be turned down to 200 degrees F to avoid burning oil and causing the fryer to be manually reset. This fryer can cook 25 pounds of fries per hour. I bought a taco shell basket (FRA 226-1096). What size deep fryer do I need.
