QUESTION
I have had 2 sets of these knives over the past 20 years. The forks and spoons are fantastic. (the knife is a bit too heavy). The knives all tend to rust on the flat part of the blade but especially along the grooves in the handle. I am hesitant to pay for another set in case this next dozen rusts too. Do you still honour any warranty? I don't have any receipts from the original purchase and the store that I purchased them from has since closed. Please advise on the quality of these knives. Thank you! Karen

ANSWER
Oneida has no specific time frame on the warranty, it is just under warranty against manufacturer defect. If they are 20 years old, they would not be under warranty. The blades should never rust unless they are not dried correctly. You cannot let these knives stand with food on them and you should not use a dishwasher chemical with a chloride in it. QUESTION
Just want to confirm that this is the solid handle knife. Based on the Model #/Mfg Part # it appears to be the solid handle version, but I want to make sure. Thanks for the help!
