How do you clean the Norpro 1049 Hand Crank Pasta Machine?

Hello, according to the product manual this machine should never be washed with water or put in the dishwasher. Instead, it should be cleaned with a brush or a wooden rod. why is the machine not cutting the dough? I have the roller set on 5, is that too thin?

Hello, according to the product manual - "If the rollers wonʼt “cut”, this means the dough is too soft, pass the dough through the smooth rollers, after adding some flour to the mixture." Hello, yes, this machine can be used to extract flat sheets of dough. It cuts .06"/1.5mm pasta sheets, tagliolini or .25/6mm fettuccine. Thank you!

Hello, the machine itself has a 5" width so the sheets will be slightly smaller than that. It has a side turner which brings the rollers in or out for varying thicknesses. Thank you!

I see that this has .06" vermicelli and .25"fettuccine settings. Does it also have the modes for just flattening the dough in one big piece and not in noodle strands of varying thicknesses? If not does it have attachments that can be bought?
