Pan was smaller than anticipated. The 3 1/2" measurement is across the top-rim to rim, not across the bottom, as cake pans are usually measured. Other than that, pan worked fine.

I bought these pans to make brownies - I got the recipe from Ina Garten (the Barefoot Contessa) You bake these brownies in these pans and eat them right out of the oven w/vanilla ice cream - tastes like molten lava cake
