Does this have visible seams? I want to make sure they don't have seams, before I order.
ANSWER
We spoke with Libbey and that told us that there is a seam but that it is nearly imperceptible. This glass made with a block’type mold that opens and closes around the item during forming, initially leaving a seam. But after that, the item rotates through a fire-polishing’ process that smooths over seams and other unfinished spots intentionally. Each item may differ slightly and one might show a little more seam than another—but it’s definitely not a pronounced ridge’running down the glass.
