It indicates "not for all day use." Is this because it is not commercial grade? Is the danger that it would burn/short out quickly?

QUESTION
What is the surface of the griddle?
Could a person cook stir-fry on this with metal tools?
ANSWER
Hi. The surface of this griddle has a nonstick finish. Metal tools can be used, but over time they will wear out the finish. Nylon, wooden, plastic, or rubber utensils are recommended.
