Hosted at the <strong>Ivory Room<\/strong> at the <strong>Miranova<\/strong> in downtown <strong>Columbus<\/strong>, the sold out event coincided with the conclusion of the first day of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.midamericarestaurantexpo.com\/aws\/MARX\/pt\/sp\/home_page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Mid-America Restaurant Expo<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It was fitting for the event to be held in a <strong>Cameron Mitchell<\/strong> event space as the man himself took home two awards. The first was the <strong>Claude F. Morton Lifetime Achievement Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think this award may be a bit premature,&#8221; said <strong>Mitchell<\/strong>. &#8220;I&#8217;ve still got a lot more to do!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For his second award of the night, <strong>Cameron Mitchell<\/strong> was one of three inaugural inductees into the association&#8217;s newly created <strong>Hall of Fame<\/strong>. Joining Mitchell in the Hall of Fame&#8217;s first class were <strong>Billy Ingram<\/strong>, founder of <strong>White Castle<\/strong> and <strong>Jeff Ruby<\/strong>, founder of <strong>Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Congrats to the winners!
