is this pot stainless steel can it be used for food

Hello, this steel grease bucket was made to filter oil and enable safer handling of hot oil. It has a low profile so it can easily fit underneath drain valves. Filter sold separately. We do carry a large assortment of stainless steel stock pots that are more compatible for food such as item 75518039 or item 175729. I purchased two filter pots with seal down lids for my concession trailer. They will work great for draining and filtering my cooking oil every day before traveling on to the next event. The seal down lid will keep the oil contained in the tub while I am pulling the trailer down the road. I purchased them without the wheels so they stay where they are put when traveling. When not in use they will fit in my base cabinet across the isle from my fryers. The only thing that is a bit difficult is pouring the oil back into the fryers. I didn't buy the pump for lack of a lot of room in my concession trailer. This is a great item for my use. Great customer service at Wasserstrom.com helps me to be a return customer.
