Hi. I'm looking for a compost-friendly or recyclable ramekin (.5 - 1.5 cups) to sell mini chicken potpies at the farmer's market. I'll also need lids.
This product's description says it'll hold food for about a half hour (before it starts to break down, I guess) and tolerate an oven for 45 minutes.
Would this product deal with being fridged or frozen for a couple days before I sell it/ the chicken potpie, and hold up to an Igloo cooler for 5 hours? Thank you. If not, could you refer me to your best option? thank you.
Hi, the manufacturer said it is ok to refrigerate or freeze Servewise products but they do not recommend freezing any liquids. This ramekin does have matching lids but unfortunately we do not carry those. You can contact the manufacturer for more information on ordering lids. Front Of The House can be reached at 305-757-7940. We also have a 4 ounce portion cup that is 100% compostable and we do carry lids for these. It is item# 6003460 and the lids are listed under companion items on the product page. There is also a spec sheet with more product information on the "Literature" tab. Thank you.
