QUESTION
Does the 36 1/4" length include the length of the handles? I am hoping the length refers only to the rim-rim length of the top of the cart. I am trying to have a more useful room service cart and the trays we use are rather large, almost 28" across.

ANSWER
The 36-1/4" length of this cart does include the handles. Carlisle does have a larger cart, the CC224303 Large Black Bussing and Transport Cart (Item 231660) that has a width of 41" would be large enough for 28" trays. Hope this helps!
