QUESTION
How do I keep my coffee hot. I make the coffee in a 110 cup coffee urn, they I let it pour out the spout into the cambro. I'm thinking thats were my problem lies because it takes about 5 minutes for all the coffee to come out the urn. Or should I heat up the cambro with hot water first before putting coffee in. Thanks

ANSWER
Hello, we have asked the manufacturer about this, and they said the unit needs to be preheated using hot water. Put the lid on when you do this - it will raise the temperature faster. Also, the faster the coffee is transferred from the urn to the Camtainer the better. Thank you!

QUESTION
I would like to know: 1. How long this Camtainer keeps coffee hot. 2. Will it keep it at the same, hot, temp. it is when first poured into the Camtainer. 3. If not, what is the cooling off scale of temp. to time. I am asking because I am looking for a dispenser that will keep coffee HOT for 5+ hours. If this is not that product, can you recommend one? ANSWER
Hi. 1. This Ultra Camtainer should keep coffee hot for about 4 hours. 2. If the starting temperature is 190 F, it will decrease about 3.5 degrees after each hour. So from 190 F, it will be 176 F after 4 hours. If you need anything beyond that, I would suggest getting a coffee urn with a heat source, such as item 581096.
