Question:

I have had this product for years and used to use it all the time. I stopped using it for some reason and now I don't have the directions for how long to microwave the omelette. And will it work the same if I use egg beaters instead of actual eggs? Thanks so much! Jenny Compton

Answer:

Hello, according to the manufacturer this pan can cook 2-4 eggs in a matter of minutes. Cooking time would need to be adjusted for the amount of eggs and fillings used. Egg beaters should work, though the times may need to be adjusted for cooking. Thank you!

Question:

I NEED STEP BY STEP INFO ON HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT.

Answer:

Hello, before initial use hand wash this product in warm soapy water. It is also top-rack dishwasher safe. It is for microwave use only. The Nordic Ware manufacturer has a recipe for a basic omelet on their web-site that should give you insight on how to use this product: You will need 2-4 eggs, 2 tablespoons water or milk, and desired fillings. In a small bowl, lightly beat the eggs and water or milk. Pour this mixture into the Omelet Pan, dividing equally between the two sides. Place open pan in microwave, and cook for 2 minutes; or until eggs are partially set. Stir from outside to inside. Place desired toppings on each half, and continue to cook until eggs are set; approximately 1.5 minutes. Fold pan in half so the two sides form a whole omelet. Open pan and gently slide the omelet onto serving plate. Thank you! If further information is needed, the manufacturer can be reached at 1-877-466-7342.
