I use the sweeper on rugs and tile floors to sweep up debris that gets tracked in. I've been surprised at how well it performs. Nice to use for in between vacuuming to keep things tidied up.

I bought this unit for quick pet hair cleanups when getting out the full size vacuum isn't desirable. We have a small mix breed dog that sheds heavily. the Hoky did an OK job on carpets with pet hair, and a better job on bare floors. It doesn't work miracles, but it's not supposed to.

My Hoky 23T seems to have been around forever--25 years maybe. It has done a great job for fast picking up of "stuff". Also use it to run over the carpet through out the house for a fast once over. A Hoky 23T is surely "dynamite in a small package"---everyone is surprised to see what my "little toy" actually does. Love it!!!

Question:
Does this unit pick up backwards as well as forwards as you push it or only on the front push? For efficiency's sake, I would hope it just isn't a one way cleaner. I don't want to go over and over the same place. Once, back and forth is what I would want in a sweeper. Thanks
