I took it up to 850 F and it works and does not melt. I have used it about 10 times and so far so good. the clip is whimpy and needs extra clip, but the thermocouple is heavy gauge and seems solid.

Use as an oven thermometer. Works fine. However, wire is too stiff which makes it hard to lead out of the oven to the control unit. If wire could be made more flexible, yet retain its heat resistant properties I would rate it 5 stars.

The lead wire is quite stiff which allows forming into the oven and around cooking pieces. Just watch how the oven door closes so it does not get pinched. Works prefectly with Comark KM28. After 10 months still satisfied with ease of use and reliability.
