QUESTION
I absolutely CANNOT open the battery door on the back of this Taylor 1443 thermometer. How am I supposed to do it?

ANSWER
Use a small instrument that will not damage the thermometer (like a paperclip), and gently press into the small hole on the left side of the unit. The instrument needs to be pressed into this hole while pulling on the battery door at the same time. This will allow the battery door to slide out. Remove old battery and replace, then gently slide the battery door back into place.

Buenas tardes; Se puede programar el termometro por ejemplo MAX=4°C y MIN=2°C, ahora que lo saque le puse min y max puso los datos de temperatura de la recamara, ahora lo meti a la nevera a ver que temperatura real pone

QUESTION
There are no numbers displayed at all.How do I open the battery compartment to change the battery?

ANSWER
Hello, on the back of the unit there is a battery compartment door you will have to slide open. On that door you will see the battery information, which is CR2032. Once you slide that door open you can replace the battery and wiggle it back into place. Thank you!
