The Chamborg French press works great. It makes a very nice cup of coffee. I like it better than my old drip pot. It requires more work to clean than a drip pot but it is not difficult to clean.
I bought the four cup version but have found that the three cup would have plenty of capacity for one person.

Question:
Hi, The specifications for this item indicate that it is a 4-cup 17 oz coffee press. How can it be since one cup has 8 volume ounces. It's weight is shown as 1.4 lb, while a presumably your smaller, 3-cup unit "Chambord French Coffee Maker Press" weigh 3.0 lb. I am looking for a true, 4-cup (32oz) coffee press. Do you have one available? Thank you.
Answer:
The weight difference between the 3 and 4 cup model is that the 3 cup coffee press is the weight of six three cup presses. |
