QUESTION
I need parts for a vita mixer maxi 4000 ;model479044. the part that attaches the container to the base. The base has the male part and the container is female. I ordered one somewhere else and got one where the container has a male part . So I need a female part that fits onto the male part on the base. Got any thing that will work?

QUESTION
The metal spline on the base of the blade assembly of my 3600 plus+ Vita-Mix came unglued from the blade assembly. Will this part (580017) work. Or how can I repair what I have.

worked perfectly...I got the blade assembly, nut wrench and a drive socket to fix my vitamix blender. Instead of spending $1000 for a new blender...I spent $150 on parts and was able to fix it myself. SIMPLE instruction that come with parts are invaluable and enabled me to do it myself in less than an hour.
