This Star® cheese melter uses forced convection heat to keep foods hot but the outside cool to the touch. This cheese melter is designed to melt or warm a variety of food items including cheese and chocolate. The quartz infrared elements provide fast consistent heat. The power saver feature cut electric consumption by 75%. There is a 15 minute timer to melt cheese or other food products perfectly.
