For years I've been keeping an eye out for round-bottom glass bowls in the 6-8 cup (7-8") range in stores with no luck. Finally I went online and eventually found these. They're the perfect size and shape for serving individual portions of pastas, cereals, and entree' salads; displaying small fruits & vegs; microwaving puddings and sauces; whisking (except foams); and mise en place of multi-cup ingredients like flour. The stackable design is considerably heavier than the non-stackable, which some may not like, but it also makes them more durable.
