I just purchased a set of these goblets for home use. Can they/should they be put in a dishwasher?
Answer:
It can be placed in the dishwasher, but you need to make sure you are using a metal safe wash and rinse or else it will blaken the goblet.

I am looking to purchase pewter water goblets for my mother for Christmas. She has specifically asked for a set that does not have a visible or rough edge seam. Does this goblet show the seam on the inside or outside of the goblet? Thanks! Sara
Answer:
Hi. Looking at the images, I don't see a visible seam, even on the inner lip. According to Bon Chef, Pewter Glo is designed to use from freezer to stove top or broilerdirectly to tabletop. Pewter Glo products are manufactured from only 100% Food Safe Aluminum alloys. Metal safe detergents must be used in washing pewter glo and tempo products.

Is the finish on the Bon Chef Perter Glo 110 oz, Colonial West Goblet the dual or shiny finish? Is ii 100% pewter?

Hi. This goblet is made of cast aluminum with a pewter-like sort of shiny finish (not as shiny as polished metal). Thanks! |
