I recently moved and brought my Traulsen refrigerator to my new home, to transport it the movers laid it down verticaly in the truck. When they turned upright again it was no longer cooling, the freezer & refrigerator. Could the freon have leaked out without my knowing?

Hi. I looked up to see what sort of things would happen if you lay a refrigerator down on its back, and online it said the compressor oil might have leaked into the refrigerant lines, thereby contaminating the system. If your refrigerator has stopped cooling, you might have to replace your condensor and evaporator coils, and maybe the gas dryer and compressor. It might be worth it to contact Traulsen to get more advice and then contact the transporting company to help repair or replace your refrigerator.
