I love the look of this barrel. It is being used as a garbage can by my kitchen. I bought it w/o the liner which can make it difficult to get the garbage bag out but other than that it works great for us because we have a lot of garbage being a family of 7. Great product!

Used Barrel to make a Card Table base, Cut 5" off the open end and stained brown to match the 34" x 34" table top. Looks great and worked perfect. Barrel is good quality and shipping was fast :)

This barrel is 20" in diameter and 30" high.

Is the barrel water proof? Can it hold liquids without leaking?

The barrel itself is not water proof. There is an optional liner that is available thought that make it possible for this item to hold liquid. If you call 1(866)634-8927 someone will be able to make sure that you can get the liner added.
