Question:
Can this barrel be used full height inside ... without the insert, if it is an insert? Cannot determine actual construction from picture. I want to use it/them for my cane collection but could drill separate holes for each one possibly. Thank you. (There isn't any pool hall by the way.)
Answer:
Hi. The height is 30". The diameter is 20". It has a false bottom 7" down or you can flip the barrel over for the bottom to be at 23" down. You can try to remove the insert, which is attached, too.

Question:
I have been looking at this barrel and also model # 2030B, item # 200601. Everything about them looks the same to me but the prices are different. Can you explain the differences between the two barrels?
Answer:
Hi. #200601 has a rustic finish and no liner. #200600 has a false bottom (better for holding peanuts so you don't have to fill the whole thing up) and a laquered finish. The sizes are the same. Thanks!

Question:
How sturdy is the false bottom? Do you think it would hold something heavier than peanuts? Like 50 lbs of tumbled stones? Thanks
Answer:
Hi. This is best used for peanuts or to display something of similar weight. I would not recommend using this to hold 50 lbs of stones. Thanks!

Question:
does the insert come out so i could use the whole barrel as a trash can?
Answer:
Hi. This Bradbury Barrel Wooden Peanut Barrel has an attached false bottom. The false bottom is 7" down the barrel, or you can flip the barrel over for the bottom to be at about 23" down. This same sized barrel without the false bottom is item #200601. Thanks!
