If you are looking for a french press that will last a lifetime, look no further. The quality of my Frieling 33 oz. press was evident upon opening the box. The body and all the parts are stainless steel, and replaceable, if anything should go wrong (doesn't appear likely). The coffee/tea stays noticeably hotter than glass presses, due to the doublewall insulation. Looks sleek and easy to clean. Probably one of the priciest options out there, but will last a lifetime. Best french press I've ever used.

Keeps coffee drinkable for about an hour. I do not have to worry about breaking glass. Cleans up in a snap.

I use this for coffee on weekends. It makes about 4 (small-ish to regular-sized) mugs of coffee. Bought this because I was looking for something that would keep coffee hot longer than a regular bodum glass press. I had double-walled glass, but broke two of those so couldn't justify spending the money on another. If i hit this against the sink, it won't crack -- a definite plus. It doesn't keep the coffee hot terribly long, but certainly better than a thin glass press. Probably more grounds get into my coffee than with my previous bodum presses, but that's pretty normal for French press coffee, especially the last cup. Just pour the last sip down the drain. Oh, and don't fill above the pour spout, or it will squirt some coffee out when you press. A bit expensive, but worth it for me because i expect it to last. Solid construction seems like it will hold up. One minor defect is that the knob is slightly crooked, but it doesn't bother me and might not be like that on others.
