Haven't used this yet. It seems very durable and I am glad to have it, because I often make very large quantities of soups and sauces for church functions. We never really thought anything about just putting the hot stuff in the fridge until my husband took a food safety manager class. So, wanting to do things right, I decided it was a good thing to have, and I expect to be using it a lot in the summer when we cook for camps. I will probably want a larger one at some point, also.
