how does this come out? can not get this part out.
Answer:
Hi. To remove the old gear, place a screwdriver head in the right side of the gear to jam it. Then move the can opener's handle counterclockwise until you don't feel anymore resistance. Next remove the old gear. take the new gear, make sure that the side marked "up" is facing up (touching the washer plate), and insert those back into the opener. Hold the gear in and turn the opener's handle clockwise (can also refer to assembly manual for this part). |
