Can I use the probe in a conventional oven? Insaert it in a roast and leave it in the oven without probe damage? Thank you
Answer:
I would not recommend using this probe in an oven. It is not designed for that function.

Is this something i can leave in the oil and it will beep when at the optimal temp or beep when over a certain temp? I am working a food vendor cart and while i will be close by to my outdoor fryer, I would like to not be constantly monitoring the temp of the oil.
Answer:
Hello, according to the manufacturer this thermometer can be left in the oil, and also can be used to check roasts in an oven. It can be set for a specific temperature, and will beep once the oil reaches that temperature. Thank you! |
