Vollrath Hvy Duty Tapered S/S 2 qt Sauce Pan w/ TriVent Plated Handle

Disappointing. Steel gauge isn't as heavy/thick as my other sauce pans (including a small Vollrath butter warmer I recently purchased!). So I have to be very careful not to turn up the flame too high or leave things on the burner too long. I generally use this size pan for cooking oatmeal or grits, making small soups, etc. Wanted to use it for making brown rice, quinoa & bulgur, but don't because of the overheating problem.
