Wasserstrom can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations, so be sure to check out our Shipping Restrictions section.
Delivery Time
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Shipping date estimates will appear in the order confirmation screen. After placing your order, you will see both shipping and delivery date estimates in the order confirmation email and in the order summary in My Account.
Calculating Cost
Shipping costs for orders from Wasserstrom.com depend upon the method and option you choose. They can also depend on the terms you have with your Wasserstrom account.
If you choose to ship items as soon as they become available, freight will be charged for each shipment.
Shipping Rates
Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Some larger items are dimension based and freight will be charged based on the dimensional weight.
In many instances, the carrier will deliver your order to your entrance or designated delivery area. Other larger items or orders are delivered by a common carrier. For these items, a loading dock is needed. If one is not available, delivery personnel will bring your order to the tailgate of the truck and you are responsible for unloading the items and bringing them into your building.
The number of shipments we make for your order is dependent upon:
- Our fulfillment: To serve our customers more efficiently, Wasserstrom.com has several different distribution centers located across the United States. These centers often house different types of products and they may ship separately, depending on where they happen to be located.
- Items requiring special shipping and handling: Items that require special shipping and handling, such as items that are large and/or heavy, will be subject to an additional fee for delivery.
- Direct shipments: Some of our products ship directly from the manufacturer and will be in a separate shipment from those coming from our distribution centers.
- Your default shipping address: Make sure you provide a street address for us to ship to. We cannot use a P.O. Box for deliveries.
- Your payment information: You may want to update your default credit card number and expiration date to make sure they are current.
Shipping Restrictions
You'll be notified while placing your order if we're unable to ship specific items to the address you've selected or by a specific mode of shipment you have chosen. Below are some general guidelines for items shipped by Wasserstrom.com to the following destinations and for the following item classes:
- Alaska and Hawaii
- U.S. Protectorates (including Puerto Rico)
- Airports
- International shipping
- Hazardous material
Please Note - Wasserstrom.com can only accept orders shipping to the United States and its Territories. To place an International Order, please contact Customer Service at (866) 634-8927.
Alaska and Hawaii Addresses
Most items can be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii addresses, except:
- Food items
- Hazardous materials
Check the item's product detail page for eligibility and available shipping options. Only specific shipping options may be available for some addresses. Available shipping options will appear at checkout when you enter a shipping address.
- Furniture
- Food items
- Hazardous material
Airports
Wasserstrom will deliver to airports but some of them may require special clearance to restricted areas. Some may also require a scheduled delivery with advanced notice.
Availability
The availability estimate on each item's product detail page describes how long it will take that item to reach one of our fulfillment centers once you "place your order". Items listed as "In Stock" are already available in at least one distribution center.
Placing an available item in your shopping cart does not reserve that item. Available inventory is only assigned to your order after you click the Place your order button and receive email confirmation that we've received your order.
Once the items you ordered are in stock, we'll package and ship them to you. Most orders will ship out within 24-48 hours of the items being in stock. For more information about our availability estimates, please refer to the list below.
The availability estimate does not include the time your order will take to reach you once we ship it. Shipping time depends upon the shipping option you choose.
When you add items to your cart, you will see either an estimated shipment date or an estimated delivery date displayed on the final page, just before you submit your order. Once you've placed your order, you'll be able to see the delivery date estimate in the order confirmation email and in the relevant order summary in My Account.
The following is a list of the several types of availability estimates you might see for items in our stores.
- In Stock: The item is on hand in at least one distribution center, and we expect to be able to prepare this item for shipment within 24-48 hours (depending on the shipment method you choose). Note: In-stock items often enter the shipping process immediately, so it is difficult to change an order containing in-stock items. When ordering such items, please double-check the details of your order before submitting it.
- Temporarily Out of Stock: This item is currently not in stock, but it is available for ordering. If you place an order, we will send you an e-mail with the expected delivery date as soon as we have that information from our suppliers.
- Unavailable: This item is currently not available for ordering, and we don't know when or if this item will be in stock again. Typically we will have a recommendation for another item.
We will inform you by email if any items in your order prove to be unavailable.
Delivery Estimates
Our estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including your destination address, how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for shipment, and the availability time listed on a product's detail page. An estimated shipping or delivery date is displayed on the order form, just before you place your order.
We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address, based on the shipping speed you've chosen.
For example, if you order an item that is listed as "Usually ships in 2-3 days" and select standard U.S. shipping (which typically takes 3-5 business days), you can use the chart above to determine that your order should arrive 5-8 business days after you place it.
Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Orders that are fulfilled by Wasserstrom.com and shipped via a trackable method (such as FedEx or UPS); we will have tracking information available in My Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:
- If the tracking information indicates that a package has been delivered but you do not personally have it yet, please check with your family members or neighbors. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors or building managers, or are placed somewhere relatively safe, such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.
- If the tracking information indicates that a package is being returned to us, or if the delivery address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
- If there is no tracking information or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please email us at admin@wasserstrom.com.
Our Shipping Methods
- Note: There is no weekend pickup for any method of shipping. There is weekend delivery for Next Day Air, so take this into consideration when calculating the delivery date.
- Next Day Air: Your shipment will arrive the day after you place your order. Next day deliveries can be delivered Monday through Saturday. Holidays will increase the time of delivery since our distribution centers are closed and most carriers are not deliverying. Orders must be placed by 3:00 EST.
- Second Day Air: Your shipment will arrive two days after you place your order. Second day deliveries can be delivered Monday through Friday. Holidays will increase the time of delivery since our distribution centers are closed and most carriers are not deliverying. Orders must be placed by 3:00 EST
- Third Day Select: Your shipment will arrive three days after you place your order. Three day deliveries can be delivered Monday through Friday. Holidays will increase the time of delivery since our distribution centers are closed and most carriers are not deliverying.Orders must be placed by 3:00 EST
- Standard Ground: Your order will ship within 48 hours and will arrive in the standard number of transit days from our Distribution Centers or the manufacturer. Holidays will increase the time of delivery since our distribution centers are closed and most carriers are not deliverying.
- LTL Ground: Your order will ship within 48 hours and will arrive in the standard number of transit days from our Distribution Centers or the manufacturer. LTL (Less Than Load) shipments are for orders exceeding 200 pounds and require a scheduled delivery.
- LTL Ground with Liftgate Service: Your order will ship within 48 hours and will arrive in the standard number of transit days from our Distribution Centers or the manufacturer. LTL (Less Than Load) shipments with liftgate service are for orders exceeding 200 pounds and require a scheduled delivery with offloading assistance. Our carriers offer a liftgate service for those who are unable to assist with offloading of their purchase at delivery. The standard freight tractor-trailer trucks don't have liftgates, so your order will be transferred to a smaller truck with a liftgate. This will get your order to the ground behind the truck, at which point you will need to have a handtruck, dolly, or assistance with the delivery.
Tracking Information
You can click on the tracking number to obtain the status of your shipment. If you don't see any tracking information for your shipment and the estimated delivery date has not yet passed, please do not be concerned.
After the Estimated Delivery Date
If you order does not arrive by the estimated delivery date, it may be lost. Orders shipped via a trackable method (such as FedEx or UPS) will have tracking information available in My Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:
- Tracking information indicates the package has been delivered: Please check with your family members or neighbors. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors or building managers, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.
- Tracking information indicates the package is undeliverable: If the package is being returned to us or if the delivery address is incorrect, please contact us.
- No tracking information available: If you can't locate any tracking or delivery information about your package, please contact us. Please confirm the correct shipping address when writing to us about lost packages.
Items Shipped by Wasserstrom Vendors
- If you ordered an item fulfilled by a Wasserstrom vendor, we will estimate the delivery date; however, you will need to contact us if you do not receive your shipment within the expected time frame. You can find contact information via the Order History tab in your Account Profile.
Do I have to sign for my Order? Do we want a driver release agreement?
For your package safety, it is best to have someone available to sign for your order during the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays (UPS may deliver to residential addresses up to 7:00 p.m.). If no one is available and you would like the driver to leave your shipment, please see below for the Driver Release Agreement. In certain instances, your order may not be suitable for driver release. The driver will leave a note with instructions on how to receive your order, or you will be contacted for a redelivery. All replacement orders will require a signature.

Please print & complete this form then place a signed original in a location that is both visible and accessible to our driver. Please note: This Driver Release Agreement must be completed for each shipment in an order.
