This standard weight fry pan from Browne Foodservice is 8" in diameter and features 8 gauge aluminum. It is designed to sit flat on burners avoiding "gassing" which occurs when the open flame climbs the sides of the pan and attaches directly to the oil, which affects food taste. For best results, Thermalloy® aluminum cookware should be pre‐seasoned prior to use. Pre‐seasoning Instructions: After cleaning and drying, coat the cookware lightly with vegetable oil or a small amount of shortening. Place on medium heat burner for 10 to 15 minutes until light smoke appears. Turn off heat and allow pan to cool and wipe off excess oil with a paper towel.
